Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute gave the children the chance to have an unforgettable day at “2nd Children Festival”.

The event took place on Sunday (April 22nd) at the Maras Development Academy facility of Famagusta Municipality.

Famagusta Mayor İsmail Arter expressed his gratitude to Yunus Emre Institute Director Huseyin Sahin and his team, municipality workers, Turkcell and Administration for Foundation for support to 2 nd Children's Festival on April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Arter said that children are all things for us. President Arter also mentioned how much activity we have for them is their rights and he wished the children had a great day.

The author of Harmanbish book, the master of traditional games Meddah Osman Aga presented Harmanbish Game Book with 99 games, topaç, and pirilli to Yunus Emre Institute Director Huseyin Sahin and president Arter.

Children who showed intense interest to fun activities and games as well as singing songs on stage. Children, who were partners in the Karagoz and Hacivat discussions and who were joking with Nasreddin Hodja and traveled to the past with Keloglan. With the participation of all the children enjoying the festival, the surprise gifts were also distributed.
