"Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language Training Program" which was held in Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute was completed. The training program, which was held on 3-6 September 2019, was attended by 32 educators working in TRNC Universities and primary and secondary schools affiliated to TRNC Ministry of National Education.

Hüseyin Şahin, director of the Yunus Emre Institute in Nicosia, informed the participants about the purpose and importance of the program in his opening speech and expressed his satisfaction for the interest in the program.

Turkish language education as a foreign language, lecture methods and techniques, exam procedures and principles, such as the topics of the training program, drama and workshops took place. Trainings was conducted by Yunus Emre Institute Turkology Director Prof.Dr. Yavuz Kartallıoğlu, Gazi University TOMER Director Prof.Dr. Nezir Temur, Yunus Emre Institute experts Nursel Elmas, Hamza Salduz, Betül Arıcı and Yunus Cünedioğlu. At the end of the 4-day training, the training program was completed by presenting the documents to the participants.
