Turkish Courses Started

At the Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish courses were started with a great interest. Yunus Emre Institute, which continues its studies in order to introduce Turkish culture, history, art and literature to the people who want to teach Turkish culture, in 56 contact points in 46 countries of the world, started Turkish courses in 2018 autumn semester in Nicosia.

The courses that are held in Nicosia have attracted a great deal of interest from students from different countries. Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute, which is acting with the mission of teaching the Turkish language to the students, continues to protocol talks with the leading universities of the island.

A total of 57 trainees at the A1 and A2 levels were enrolled in the Turkish courses organized by the Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute which continues to its activities until 2015 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Yunus Emre Institute is developing cirricula and materials for different age groups required for teaching Turkish as a foreign language. It also conducts training programs, training programs and in-service training programs.

Students who successfully complete their Turkish courses are given a certificate showing their level of Turkish. In addition, the ones who are successful in the Turkish Proficiency Exam, which is administered three times a year by the institute, are entitled to receive a Turkish Proficiency Exam Certificate. In Turkey or in their own country, the individuals who want to work in companies operating internationally, they have great advantages when they have Turkish Proficiency Certificate. Also, certificate provides advantage in job applications to teachers who want to teach Turkish and who want to teach Turkish abroad. At any university education will be entitled to exemption from the student to the Turkish preparatory classes in Turkey.
