The Children's Festival was held at the Yunus Emre Institute in Nicosia.

The Children's Festival, organized by the Yunus Emre Institute under the motto “Let's Go Out! was held on 8-9 November 2019 in Nicosia.

Festival which was previously held in Croatia, Amman, Qatar, Spain, South Korea and Turkey to contribute to the healthy development of children; to raise public awareness of all forms of addiction, including obesity, harmful habits and technology, and to increase children's contact with nature through traditional games.

In the festival which was held in the garden of the Yunus Emre Institute in Nicosia, many activities such as spinning top and turning, spoon doll making, finger puppet making, mask painting workshop, drama workshop, jigsaw workshop, five-stone, foot stone, linden print, marbling workshop and Karagöz-Hacivat show was performed.

More than 800 Cyprus Turkish children participated in festival from differen institutions such students from Şehit Tuncer Primary School, Şehit Ertuğrul Primary School, Cyprus Foundation of Kindness Administration, Cyprus Turkish Child Protection Institution Activity Center, ESKAD Youth Center, Çağlayan Nursery School.
