Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Yunus Emre Institute and European University of Lefke

A cooperation protocol was signed on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 between Yunus Emre Institute, which has signed many international and domestic academic cooperation agreements, and European University of Lefke, one of the well-established universities of Cyprus.

At the protocol signing ceremony held at the University Rectorate, European University Rector of Lefke Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen and Deputy Director of Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute Abdullah Aktaş were present.

A mobilization was made between the Institute and the University to provide Turkish lessons for students whose native language is not Turkish and who cannot document their Turkish proficiency. Within the framework of the protocol, which will be valid for five years, it is aimed to strengthen and maintain cooperation based on mutual understanding and friendship, to expand Turkish education and to provide the necessary support in all areas needed.
